Adding Files

Get to Add Files

Add files is available both in the MusicReader App as on MRSync.com .

The functionality on both is roughly the same, with exeption of "Scanner" (MRSync.com only) and "Browser" (App only).

In this section we will show how you get to the Add Files section.

MusicReader App

To access the Add Files sections follow these steps:

1. In the top menu of MusicReader App go to "Full Menu". That's the icon indicated with (1) in Image 1.
2. Then go to "Add Files" as indicated with (2) in Image 2.

On MRSync.com

1. Go to www.mrsync.com and login with your account.
2. Press the "Add Files" link as indicated with (1) in Image 3.

Local Files

To add files from your local system follow these steps:

1. Go to "Add Files" using the instructions from section Get to Add Files .
2. On the "Add Files" screen press the "Local Files" button as indicated with (1) in Image 5.
3. Then choose between selecting individual files or complete folder* as indicated with (2).
4. Then you can select a folder in which you want to add the files. This is shown with (3) in the image. This is optional, you can leave it at "Root Folder".
5. After that you can choose the way you want to add the files. (See (4) in Image ) When you choose "Normal" then MusicReader automatically detects optimal settings for a file, but this can take longer. If you choose "Quick" then it will go faster, but default settings will be used.
6. After that press the "Add Files" button as shown as (5) in example.
7. The file(s) are now added to MusicReader, wait for it to complete.

*=If you choose to add a complete folder then any subfolders will be added to folders inside MusicReader. The files will then be added that folder. So the folder structure will be copied inside MusicReader.

Cloud Storage

To add files from your cloud storage follow these steps:

1. Go to "Add Files" using the instructions from Get to Add Files .
2. Then press the "Cloud Storage" button as shown as (1) in Image 6.
3. Choose the Cloud service you want to use (see (2) ).
4. Then you might need to login to the Cloud service, at least the first time.
5. After logging in a file screen is shown. Select here the files you want to add. Then confirm the selection.
6. Then you can select a folder in which you want to add the files. This is shown with (3) in the image. This is optional, you can leave it at "Root Folder".
7. After that you can choose the way you want to add the files. (See (4) in Image ) When you choose "Normal" then MusicReader automatically detects optimal settings for a file, but this can take longer. If you choose "Quick" then it will go faster, but default settings will be used.
8. After that press the "Add Files" button as shown as (5) in example.
9. The file(s) are now added to MusicReader, wait for it to complete.

Take Photo with Camera

To add piece with internal camera of your system then follow these steps:

1. Go to "Add Files" using the instructions from Get to Add Files .

Scanning Paper

To add piece with scanner then follow these steps:

1. Go to "Add Files" using the instructions from Get to Add Files .

Mailbox / File Mailing

To add piece with scanner then follow these steps:

1. Go to "Add Files" using the instructions from Get to Add Files .
2. Then choose "Mailbox" as shown as (1) in Image 10.
3. E-mail the files you want to add to address indicated. (See (2) in image)
4. Then refresh the file list. (See (3) )
5. Select the files you want to add at (4).
6. And confirm selection with (5).
7. Then you can select a folder in which you want to add the files. This is shown with (6) in the Image 11. This is optional, you can leave it at "Root Folder".
8. After that you can choose the way you want to add the files. (See (7) in Image ) When you choose "Normal" then MusicReader automatically detects optimal settings for a file, but this can take longer. If you choose "Quick" then it will go faster, but default settings will be used.
9. After that press the "Add Files" button as shown as (8) in example.
10. The file(s) are now added to MusicReader, wait for it to complete.

Image 12 - Open Browser

Download with Browser

With the internal browser you can easily add files from a website.

To do that follow these steps:

1. Go to "Add Files" using the instructions from Get to Add Files . You need to do this inside the MusicReader App.
2. Then choose the "Browser" button which is indicated as (1) in Image 12.
3. Choose the button to open the browser. (See (2) in the Image)
4. Inside the browser navigate to the right website. You can do this with address bar indicated with (3) in Image 13. And you can click links on website itself.
5. As soon as you click link of the file (For example (4) in Image), it will be downloaded and added right away.
6. At the top a button to open the downloaded file will appear. (See (5) in Image)
