Install MusicReader App

In this section we will show you how to download and install the MusicReader App on your system.

Download / Install App

First we are going to download / install the App.

There are two ways to do this:

• If you already have a MRSync.com account then we recommend to Download from MRSync.com .
• Otherwise follow the instructions in section Download from MusicReader Website .

Download from MusicReader Website

To download from the MusicReader Website follow these steps:

1. Go to www.musicreader.net website on system where you want to install the App.
2. Then click the "Download" option in the top menu as shown with 1 in the image.
3. After that choose the App type you want to install:
   1. Choose 2 if you are on Windows 10 or 11. This will open the Microsoft Store. Does it not open? Then check this article.
   2. Choose 3 if you are on an iPad. This will open the AppStore.
   3. Choose 4 if you are on Android device or on a Chromebook. This will open Google Play.
   4. Choose 5 if you are on Mac OS. This will download the App immediately.
4. Then install the App on your system.
   1. For 2 3 4 install it using the install option available in the store.
   2. For 5 let installation file download and then open it to start installation.
5. After installation open the App and continue with "Setup App".

Download from MRSync.com

To download from the MRSync.com Website follow these steps:

1. Go to www.mrsync.com on system where you want to install the App.
2. Login to your existing account.
3. In the left menu choose "Get Apps" as shown with 1 in the image.
4. After that choose the App type you want to install:
   1. Choose 2 if you are on Windows 10 or 11.
   2. Choose 3 if you are on Android device or on a Chromebook.
   3. Choose 4 if you are on an iPad.
   4. Choose 5 if you are on Mac OS.
5. Then you will see a link to download / install the App like one indicated with 6 in image. Click the link to open the installation page or download the file. Are you on Windows and doesn't Microsoft Store open? Then check this article.
6. For Mac OS (or Android APK) download the file and then open it to start installation. For all others please follow instruction on installation page. Click the button to have the App installed.
7. After installation open the App and continue with "Setup App".

Setup App

The first time you start the App you will see the screen as shown on the left.

1. If you already created a MRSync.com account then choose button "Existing User" 1 , otherwise choose button "New User" 2.
2. Follow steps to login or create the account.
3. The App will be setup and show you an introduction video.
4. As soon as this is done the App will tell you can Get Started.

MusicReader Account / MRSync.com

For using MusicReader you need a MusicReader / MRSync.com account.

This account makes it possible to:

• Use the MusicReader App and MRSync.com Cloud Services. The App can be installed on multiple devices with same account.
• Have MusicReader App sync your files with MRSync.com . This acts as a backup of your files and also makes it possible to use the App on multiple devices with same music.
• Allows you to access and manage your files through www.mrsync.com .
• See current expiration of subscription and order new one.

Create Account

An account can be created in two ways:

1. By going to www.mrsync.com and choose to create an account.
2. Or by choosing "New User" when you first install the App.

Access Account

You can access the account by going to:

• www.mrsync.com website - choose Account Settings after logging in.
• Account Settings option inside the MusicReader App. You can find it in "Full Menu".

Extend your subscription

Your subscription can be extended in two ways:

1. Going to www.mrsync.com and then going to Account Settings after logging in.
2. Using Account Settings inside the MusicReader App.

Transfer your Files

There are many ways you can add files to MusicReader.

This can be done inside the MusicReader App and on www.mrsync.com website.

Move from MusicReader PDF 4

Users that have their sheet music in MusicReader PDF 4 can easily transfer it to new MusicReader.
