Removing files inside MusicReader can be done in multiple ways.
In this section we will describe them.

Removing of files inside MusicReader is done inside the Library.
This is shown in Image 1.
In the Library you go to "Edit" (1) and then "Edit Pieces" (2).
Then you can remove pieces with the red X on the left (3).

Sometimes you might need to remove multiple pieces from your library.
Then it's easier to use the "Mass Edit" option.
This option is available in "Full Menu" under "Library & Management".

There are situations where you might want to clear the complete library.
In those cases we recommend you to follow these instructions.
# Start the MusicReader App
# First go to "Full Menu"  and choose "Sync" and sync the App.
# Then go to to "Mass Edit". There you choose "Batch Delete".
# Press “Select All” to select your complete library.
# Press “Remove Selected”
# After it completes check if the library is empty.
# Not empty? Then please perform the steps again.
# If it’s empty then please go to Playlist screen.
# It will ask you remove all empty playlists, answer with YES.
# Then sync the App with your account by going to "Full Menu"  and choose "Sync".
# Do you have a second App installed on another system? Then do steps 1-10 also on that App. This to ensure everything is fully removed.
# Then login on [https://www.mrsync.com www.mrsync.com] and check if library and playlist screen is empty.
# If that’s the case then go to Add Files again.

Image 1 - Removing Files in Library

Removing files inside MusicReader can be done in multiple ways.

In this section we will describe them.

Single Files

Removing of files inside MusicReader is done inside the Library.

This is shown in Image 1.

In the Library you go to "Edit" (1) and then "Edit Pieces" (2).

Then you can remove pieces with the red X on the left (3).

Multiple Files / Batch Delete

Sometimes you might need to remove multiple pieces from your library.

Then it's easier to use the "Mass Edit" option.

Clear Complete Library

There are situations where you might want to clear the complete library.

In those cases we recommend you to follow these instructions.

  1. Start the MusicReader App
  2. First go to "Full Menu" and choose "Sync" and sync the App.
  3. Then go to to "Mass Edit". There you choose "Batch Delete".
  4. Press “Select All” to select your complete library.
  5. Press “Remove Selected”
  6. After it completes check if the library is empty.
  7. Not empty? Then please perform the steps again.
  8. If it’s empty then please go to Playlist screen.
