Manage Files

MusicReader has a number of ways in which files can be managed.
This sections gives you an overview of managing files, syncing Apps and file setup options.
Adding Files[edit | edit source]
Adding files can be done inside MusicReader App and also on MRSync.com website.
In both cases it's important to also Sync App with Account to transfer files between account and App.
In that way you always have backup of files.

The specific adding methods can be found here:
- Local Files - Adding files from your local system.
- Cloud Storage - Adding files from cloud services like Google Drive and Dropbox.
- Take Photo with Camera - Taking a photo of sheet music using the camera of your device.
- Scanning Paper Music - Using your scanner to scan paper sheet music.
- Mailbox / File Mailing - E-mail files to your MusicReader Account and add it from mailbox.
- Download with Browser - Downloading files from website using integrated browser.
- Open files in MusicReader App - open files from your system directly in MusicReader App.
Sync App with Account[edit | edit source]
After you added the files to MusicReader it's important to sync the App with your account.
This ensures the files are both inside the App and in your MusicReader Account (MRSync.com).
Syncing the App is done in the Following way:
- Start the MusicReader App.
- In top menu press icon indicated with 1 in above image.
- Then choose option 2 from the full menu.
- Start the sync on the screen you get.
- Wait till sync fully completed.
Setup Piece Settings[edit | edit source]
There are several settings available for files you added to MusicReader.
With these settings you can customize the pieces:
- Piece Information - change the title, composer, arranger, genre and other information.
- Page Settings - Decide the order of pages and the way they are turned.
- Cropping - Remove the white area around music for larger image or removes staffs from the top / bottom of page.
- Piece Splitter - Split a book into individual pieces.
- Share / Print / Export - Share / Print / Export a single file or multiple files from folders / playlits.
Removing Files[edit | edit source]
There are multiple ways you can remove a file from MusicReader.
- Single Files - Removing a number of individual files from the library.
- Multiple Files / Batch Delete - Removing a large number of files together.
- Clear Complete Library - Clearing the complete library
